Paul McCartney album title rumoured to be secret message to Linda
Paul McCartney's new album title, Memory Almost Full, is rumored to be a coded reference to his late wife Linda McCartney. Britain's Sunday Mirror and other outlets have reported that the album's title is an anagram of "For My Soulmate LLM (Linda Louise McCartney)." An anagram is a word or phrase made by transposing the letters of another word or phrase.
A source close to Macca said that, "It is a title Paul has had on his mind for a long time -- even before Linda died. He'd never have used it if things were going well with (estranged wife) Heather (Mills). But this record is very much the break-up album. It's an homage to the woman who remains the true love of his life -- and his soulmate."
Paul and Linda McCartney were married for 29 years and had four children together. Linda McCartney died of cancer on April 17th, 1998.
Macca and Heather Mills married in 2002 and had a daughter named Beatrice the following year. The couple separated in May and divorce proceedings began in July.
Macca's new album Memory Almost Full will be released on June 5th.

John Lennon's oldest son Julian Lennon has sold a "significant" share of his stake in his father's songwriting publishing. On Friday (April 13th) the deal between Julian and New York based song publishers Primary Wave Music was announced, which gives the company a cut of the royalties on John's Beatles-era collaborations with Paul McCartney.
The Associated Press reported that Julian said in a statement that, "I felt it was the appropriate time to take on a partner for both my interest in my father's legendary music and for my future music endeavors." As part of the deal the publishers will help Julian market his upcoming album, which is being recorded in Europe. There has been no release date set.
Last year Primary Wave Music signed a similar deal with rocker Kurt Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, when they acquired 25 percent of the song catalogue from Cobain's band Nirvana.
Julian, who's now 44, received a portion of his father's royalties in the mid-'90s as part of a multimillion dollar settlement with his stepmother, Yoko Ono, who controls the Lennon estate. Julian's mother is Cynthia Lennon, who was married to John from 1962 to 1968.
Julian has recently spent time on the road traveling with his half-brother Sean Lennon, who just wrapped up a European tour. Sean Lennon is currently on the road in the U.S.
