Queens Of The Stone Age join rock honours
Queens Of The Stone Age and Alice In Chains have joined the lineup of artists performing at the second annual VH1 Rock Honors, scheduled to be taped on May 12th at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. They'll join Nickelback, Keane, Gretchen Wilson and others in paying tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, ZZ Top, Genesis and Heart. The show will have its broadcast premiere on May 24th at 9 p.m. ET.
Tickets for the event are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
Billy Bob Thornton, Robin Williams, Criss Angel, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and more will appear as presenters.
Last year's inaugural Rock Honors celebrated Queen, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, and Kiss with performances by Godsmack, Foo Fighters, Rob Zombie and others. This year's show is again expected to include spoken tributes, filmed packages, and performances from all the artists involved.
