Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining music school benefit

The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder will perform at the third annual Hullabaloo benefit for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, according to Gigwise.com. The event, which was co-founded by Chili Peppers bassist Flea, raises money to fund scholarships at the conservatory for hundreds of low-income students who cannot afford musical instruments or lessons. The show will take place in Los Angeles at the Henry Fonda Theatre on May 5th.

Actor Woody Harrelson will serve as host, with more acts slated to be announced.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 21st, at silverlakeconservatory.com.
