Slipknot to begin recording at end of 2007
Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor told a New Jersey college radio station on Friday (April 6th) that his other band, Slipknot, will begin recording a new CD before the end of the year. Taylor also added that Slipknot will release at least one more album together. The group's last effort, the million-plus selling Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses), came out in 2004. Stone Sour, which also features Slipknot guitarist Jim Root, is on the road promoting its second album, Come What(ever) May, which has sold more than 500,000 copies since its release last August.
The latest single from Come What(ever) May is "Sillyworld."
Stone Sour is currently headlining the spring edition of the Jagermeister Music Tour, which pulls into Baltimore on Tuesday (April 10th).
Slipknot recently released a DVD called Voliminal: Inside The Nine.
