Spinal Tap to reunite for Live Earth show

David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) and Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest) collectively known as Spinal Tap are ready to turn their amps to 11 again. The heavy metal group, subject of the legendary 1984 "rockumentary" 'This Is Spinal Tap', join the bill for the London Wembley Stadium concert on July 7.

The other Live Earth gigs will take place in New Jersey, Sydney, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai and Johannesburg.

Spinal Tap will share the London bill with bands including Foo Fighters and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The group, who have reunited several times since the film, are also releasing a new single called Warmer Than Hell.
