Tool finalize 2007 tour dates

Tool has announced more new dates for its rescheduled U.S. tour, bringing the total number of shows to nearly 40. The trek was postponed from its original mid-March start after drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep while picking up his dog at home. The tour will now commence on April 27th in Las Vegas, with the latest confirmed dates taking it into early July. The band is also scheduled to co-headline Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival in mid-June.

Singer Maynard James Keenan recently wrote at his MySpace page that he has been working on new music from his side project Puscifer and hopes to release its first album in October. Rage Against The Machine bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk have reportedly played on some of the recordings.

Tool is touring behind its fourth full-length studio album, 10,000 Days.
