The Bravery returns with "The Sun and the Moon"

The Bravery releases its second album today (May 22nd), titled The Sun and the Moon. Unlike its self-titled 2005 debut, the band wrote much of this album while on the road. Keyboard player John Conway told us that the change in environment made a difference in the music: [ Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "Some things were very different about writing on the road than at home. You know, when we did our first record, there was no time constraints at all and, you know, like they say, you have your whole life to do the first record. On the road, you have to just pick up hours in hotel rooms and on the back of the tour bus. But the process was still pretty much the same, you know -- it's just us with a few guitars and a laptop computer, just putting songs together."

The Sun and the Moon's first single is called "Time Won't Let Me Go."

The band performed Monday night (May 21st) on Last Call with Carson Daly.

The group began a North American tour last week that hits Cleveland on Friday (May 25th).

The Bravery's self-titled 2005 debut went gold in the U.S. and featured the single "An Honest Mistake."
