Crowded House announce N. American tour
The reunited Crowded House has announced the details for a North American tour. The band's first set of dates in the U.S. and Canada since 1996 starts August 4th in Northampton, Massachusetts, and will include 27 shows before wrapping up September 12th in Atlanta. The group, with founding members Neil Finn on vocals and guitar and Nick Seymour on bass, is hitting the road behind their new album called Time On Earth, which comes out July 10th.
Pete Yorn will be the opening act on most of the dates.
Besides Finn and Seymour, the Crowded House lineup includes former bassist Mark Hart and new drummer Matt Sherod. They made their live debut at the Coachella Festival in California last month.
The next stop for Crowded House is June 22nd in Dublin. They've also got two shows in England before heading to Australia for the Live Earth show in Sydney on July 7th.
