Fall Out Boy bassist: "Expect surprises"
Fall Out Boy finally began its Honda Civic Tour in Denver last Friday (May 11th) after delaying the trek's start for nearly a month due to personal reasons. While the group is not taking out a highly theatrical stage show, bassist Pete Wentz told us that fans can expect some surprises: [

And I would say expect songs that we've never played live before that we've recorded, expect alternate versions of songs, and then I'd say expect a cover song or two."
Footage has already surfaced online of Fall Out Boy playing Michael Jackson's "Beat It" at one of the tour's first dates.
The Honda Civic Tour, which also features Plus 44, The Academy Is..., Paul Wall and Cobra Starship, continues Wednesday night (May 16th) in Minneapolis.
Fall Out Boy is supporting its third album, Infinity On High, which arrived in February.
Pete Wentz recently told MTV that the band plans to travel to Uganda in July and investigate firsthand the plight of refugees in the African nation's displacement camps. The band has been working with a California non-profit group called Invisible Children to create awareness of the crisis.
Wentz opened a new bar in downtown New York City last month called Angels and Kings.
