Ian Hunter sets US tour

Ian Hunter has announced a short U.S. tour. He kicks things off June 7th in Chicago and will play 11 shows before wrapping it up June 26th in Annapolis, Maryland, though more dates could easily be added. Hunter has booked the tour to support his new album, called Shrunken Heads, which will be released on Tuesday (May 15th).

A previously announced gig at Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia, on June 22nd has been cancelled, and there's been no word yet as to whether it will be rescheduled.

Shrunken Heads is the first set of new material from Hunter since the Rant album was released in 2001.

Hunter's got European dates that begin Saturday (May 12th) in Paris.
