Marilyn Manson to tour with Slayer

Marilyn Manson and Slayer have announced the details of their co-headlining North American tour, which will begin on July 25th in West Palm Beach, Florida and end in San Antonio on September 1st. Manson and Slayer will both play full sets, with support from Bleeding Through and a yet-to-be-named second act. Manson has promised a highly theatrical show on this trek and told us that anything can happen during one of his concerts: [ Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "The element of unpredictability and chaos always reigns free with Marilyn Manson because that's what we're about. And that's never gonna change, no matter how much, you know, we bring to a show. It's always gonna be raw, and that is what rock and roll is about, you know, as far as I'm concerned."

Marilyn Manson will be touring behind his new album, Eat Me, Drink Me, which is due out on June 5th. Slayer is supporting last year's Christ Illusion.

Manson's official German web site is premiering the video for his new single, "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand)," on Tuesday (May 8th). The site can be found at marilynmanson.de. A 34-second preview of the clip is currently online at YouTube.
