My Chemical Romance breaking up "Parade"
My Chemical Romance fans probably won't get to hear The Black Parade in its entirety when the band hits the road this summer on Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour. While the group has been playing the concept album from front to back on its recent headlining shows, singer Gerard Way said that they'll probably change it up for the festival run: [

I mean, right now we're getting to play The Black Parade in its entirety which is, it's amazing for us to be able to do, but also when you mix it up, you could...now we're starting to develop kind of a catalog, so we could actually build sets if we want 'em to be more mellow or more visceral." My Chemical Romance completed a headlining North American tour on Tuesday night (May 22nd) in Portland, Oregon. The band has been playing The Black Parade during the first hour of the show, followed by 30 minutes of earlier material.
The band had to cancel several dates on the trek earlier this month after food poisoning struck members of the group and its crew, as well as members of the crew for opening act Muse.
The Projekt Revolution tour's first scheduled date is July 27th in Marysville, California.
