Plus 44 will play Blink-182 songs
Plus 44 bassist Mark Hoppus said in a post at the band's MySpace page that they will be playing songs from Blink-182, the former group of Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker, on the current Honda Civic Tour with Fall Out Boy. Hoppus wrote, "For the past year-and-a-half we have been saying how Plus 44 will never play Blink-182 songs. In interviews, when people ask about it, we say it won't happen, we think it's lame, etc. Last week we changed our minds...You see, Travis and I LOVE our history with Blink-182, and it seems a shame to let those songs sit dormant forever because of what happened two years ago."
Hoppus wrote that the band played Blink's "What's My Age Again?" on Wednesday (May 16th), adding, "It was awesome to play. So why not? It was awesome to play that song live again."
But Hoppus told us that there has been no thaw in his and Barker's relationship with Blink frontman Tom DeLonge since the trio broke up in 2005: [

The Honda Civic Tour pulls into St. Louis on Friday night (May 18th).
Plus 44 is supporting its debut album, When Your Heart Stops Beating, which was released last fall.
