The Police announce new greatest hits album

With the Police reunion tour ready to start next week, the band has taken the time to announce a new greatest-hits album. It's called The Police, and the two-disc set features 28 songs from throughout their career, including hits like "Can't Stand Losing You," "Roxanne," "Message In A Bottle," "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da," and "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic." It also has the band's first-ever single, "Fall Out," which was recorded by the original lineup of singer-bassist Sting, drummer Stewart Copeland, and guitarist Henry Padovani. The album will be released June 5th.

The Police tour, which marks the 30th anniversary of the band's formation, gets underway with a fan club show on Sunday (May 27th) at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, then officially kicks off the following night (Monday, May 28th) at the arena.
