Tom Petty & the coffee table book

A coffee table book about Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers will be published in the fall. The working title is Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers: An American Odyssey, and it has Petty's own version of his life and times, as well as interview segments with the band and others from the documentary that Peter Bogdanovich is putting together. There will also be set lists, handwritten lyrics, and over 200 photos, many of which have never been published.

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers: An American Odyssey is due November 1st, which should coincide with the theatrical release of the Bogdanovich film and the PBS airing of the Heartbreakers' 30th anniversary concert from Petty's hometown of Gainesville, Florida, back on September 21st, 2006.
