UK version of Chris Cornell album to feature extra tracks
Former Audioslave and Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell will add a few bonus tracks to international versions of his upcoming solo album, Carry On. According to Amazon.co.uk, the British edition of the record will feature two original songs not included on the U.S. version, titled "Today" and "Roads We Choose." Meanwhile, the Japanese release will contain a live acoustic cover of Led Zeppelin's "Thank You," according to CDJapan.co.jp. The track was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in September of 2006.
Carry On arrives in stores on June 5th.
Cornell shot a video for the song "Arms Around Your Love" two weeks ago in New York City.
Cornell left Audioslave earlier this year due to what he called "irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences." He recently told MTV.com that he has no interest in joining another band.
The vocalist is currently touring with a new backup band and a live show featuring songs from Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog and both his solo projects. He plays on Wednesday (May 2nd) in Los Angeles.
