The Used begin spreading "Lies"
The Used release their third album on Tuesday (May 22nd), called Lies for the Liars, and it's the punk quartet's first effort since 2004's In Love and Death. Although the band took a six-month break before starting the new disc, bassist Jeph (Jeff) Howard told us that they had no problem getting back to work: [

We went out to L.A. and started writing and recording and doing all that jazz, and it was just natural and easy and not like we were trying to get back into the swing of things. Just more like it was there and never really left."
The first single from Lies for the Liars is called "The Bird and the Worm."
The Used parted ways with founding drummer Brendan Steineckert last year, replacing him with Dan Whitesides.
The Utah-based band will make its third appearance on the Warped Tour this summer, which begins on June 29th in Pomona, California. The Used will play from the kick-off date until July 3rd, and then again from July 7th to the 15th, before launching their own headlining trek later in the summer.
