2007 Rush tour begins
Rush kicks off its 2007 world tour on Wednesday night (June 13th) in Atlanta, Georgia, with North American dates scheduled through September 22nd in Toronto. The band's latest stage show and set list is always a source of great speculation for fans, with one eyewitness who snuck into rehearsals telling RushIsABand.com that the trio was running through songs it had not played for more than 25 years. The group also apparently plans to perform at least eight songs from its new album, Snakes & Arrows, which arrived in stores last month.2007 marks Rush's 33rd year as a recording and touring act and bassist Geddy Lee told us that he's thankful for the loyalty of Rush fans: [

I think there must be a tremendous curiosity among fans to see what we're gonna be doing next. You know, I applaud the adventurous spirit of those fans that have hung in with us." Among the songs that Rush was reportedly rehearsing for the new tour were live rarities like "Circumstances," "A Passage to Bangkok" and "Witch Hunt," alongside staples such as "Freewill," "Tom Sawyer" and "The Spirit of Radio."
