You know, the art background being like to me one of the most important things, and the fact that I was a storyteller before I was a singer, it just meant I was gonna tell more stories. And the fact that the aesthetic is just as important sometimes as the music, that all comes from that place." The 30-year-old Way dropped out of New York City's School of Visual Arts to put together My Chemical Romance.
The Umbrella Academy will run for six issues, with the first one titled The Day The Eiffel Tower Went Berserk.
My Chemical Romance is currently on the road in Europe and will hit North America this summer as part of Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour, beginning in late July.
The latest single and video from the group's current album, The Black Parade, is "Teenagers."
