New Bon Jovi album released
Bon Jovi's new album, Lost Highway, made its way to record stores this week. The project was recorded in Nashville with Nashville producer Dann Huff (Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill), but the band will only say that the project is influenced by country music instead of being a full-on country album.Bon Jovi did tap some country talent for Lost Highway, including duo Big & Rich who collaborate with the band on a song called, "We Got It Going On." Frontman Jon told us that he counts Big Kenny and John Rich among his closest friends now. [

No stranger to crossover success, LeAnn Rimes also lends her voice to a song called "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore," which will also appear on Rimes' upcoming album. Bon Jovi said Rimes was an obvious choice that, well, wasn't so obvious at first. [
Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "We were lookin' for a woman, not a girl -- somebody that if we made a video could be in the movie -- and I looked and we recorded the song and mixed the song and it was finished and there was no one and it was one of those, 'Duh!' moments. You hit yourself in the forehead when you realize, 'She was right there in front of us the whole time.' Dann (Huff) was producing her." Bon Jovi's last album, Have A Nice Day, was released in 2005.
