Nickelback announce new summer dates
Nickelback has announced a second leg of North American tour dates for this summer, scheduled to begin on August 9th in Vancouver, Canada. The new round of shows will follow a previously announced July run and has been added due to overwhelming demand. These gigs are likely to be the last the Canadian band does in support of its multi-platinum 2005 album, All The Right Reasons. Support on the August dates will come from Puddle Of Mudd, with Daughtry and Finger Eleven also appearing on selected dates. Tickets go on sale this weekend.The first leg of the summer tour kicks off on Thursday (June 28th) in St. Johns, Newfoundland.
Nickelback was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame on June 9th at a ceremony in Toronto.
The quartet has racked up sales of 21 million albums, along with a number of awards and four Grammy nominations, since breaking out with its 2001 hit, "How You Remind Me."
