Queens Of The Stone Age announce tour details
Queens Of The Stone Age have announced details of the "Duluth" tour, which will begin on July 22nd in Costa Mesa, California and run through August 11th in Oklahoma City. The 13-show run will play less-traveled concert markets like Billings, Montana and Eugene, Oregon. Frontman Josh Homme explained his approach to the tour: [
Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "What we're gonna do first is go to the villages first, because I'm really excited about the record and I wanna go where shows don't often happen. And then we're gonna come in and for the bigger cities, we're gonna actually look for someone to try to do something really cool like a four-band bill, and co-headline with somebody." Homme added that the band hopes to launch its co-headlining trek later this summer.
The new Queens Of The Stone Age album, Era Vulgaris, arrives on June 12th.
The Best Buy version of the record will come with a bonus track, a cover of Billy Idol's "White Wedding."
