Queens Of The Stone Age unleash "Sick, Sick, Sick" video

Queens Of The Stone Age has unveiled the video for "Sick, Sick, Sick," the first single from the group's new Era Vulgaris album. In the bizarre clip, the band is playing at one end of a church while a single female fan sits eating a huge meal at a table at the other end. But as band members begin to disappear around frontman Josh Homme, it soon becomes apparent that the woman is devouring a lot more than the food in front of her.

Although he doesn't appear in the clip, the song features additional vocals and guitar from Strokes singer Julian Casablancas. Josh Homme told us that the track didn't even have lyrics until Casablancas showed up: [ Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "It was all instrumental up until the very end, when Julian came, because nothing seemed to make sense, you know. And so it just worked out. Julian was there for a couple of days, but that was the song that sort of worked out the best, you know, that really spoke to both of us."

The official Queens Of The Stone Age website, qotsa.com, features behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the "Sick, Sick, Sick" video.

Era Vulgaris arrived in stores on Tuesday (June 12th).

The group will begin its "Duluth" tour on July 22nd in Costa Mesa, California, hitting smaller markets and also making an August 24th stop in East Troy, Wisconsin with Rage Against The Machine.
