Evanescence will shoot a video for its next single, "Good Enough," in Budapest, Hungary later this month during the band's current European tour. Singer Amy Lee revealed the news this past weekend at England's Download Festival. "Good Enough" will be the third single from the latest Evanescence album, The Open Door. (NME.com)
The video for Hinder's cover of the Steppenwolf classic "Born To Be Wild" is now streaming at NASCAR.com. The band recorded the track for exclusive use by TNT to promote the cable channel's coverage of the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. There's no word on whether the song will be made available for purchase or download. Meanwhile, "Homecoming Queen" has been selected as the fifth single from Hinder's double platinum debut, Extreme Behavior, and will head to radio stations later this month. (Tunelab Music)
A previously unreleased Stone Sour song called "Suffer" is available for free download at roadrun.com/suffer. The track comes off the enhanced special edition of the band's latest CD, Come (What)ever May, due out on June 26th. (Blabbermouth)
Five Radiohead tracks will be featured in Ride The Beast, an upcoming production of the Scottish Ballet. The performance will premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival from August 18th to the 20th and four songs will accompany the actual dancing. The tunes selected for inclusion are "Creep," "Hunting Bears," "Idioteque" and "The National Anthem," while the electronic piece "Fitter Happier" will open the show. (Tripwire News)
Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Buckethead and drummer Brian "Brain" Mantia have joined forces with legendary funk bassist Bootsy Collins in a new project called Science Faction. The outfit's yet-to-be-titled debut disc is now being recorded and will be released early next year. The threesome had previously collaborated in a project called Praxis. (Billboard.com)
