Foo Fighters are tentatively planning to release their sixth studio album in late September, according to sources close to the band. The group has been recording the follow-up to 2005's In Your Honor throughout the spring. A title and first single have yet to be announced. (Harddrive Radio)

A video will be filmed in Los Angeles on Friday (June 15th) for "Evolution," the first single from Korn's untitled eighth album. Since the band is touring in Europe, it doesn't seem likely they'll appear at the shoot, but a casting call has gone out for numerous characters, including a "hero scientist," a "religious politician," several military and government types, and our favorite, a "man in underwear." Korn's new CD is due out at the end of July.

Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose and his wife Teri are expecting their first child together on January 8th. Rose will be a father for the second time. He has a seven-year-old daughter named Kayla from his previous marriage to ex-Coal Chamber bassist Rayna Foss-Rose. (Harddrive Radio)

P.O.D. has delayed the release of its new album, When Angels and Serpents Dance, from August 14th to a yet-to-be-determined date this fall. Guitarist Marcos Curiel has posted an update on the band's activities at its channel on YouTube. (Tunelab Music)

Evanescence touring drummer Will Hunt filled in for Motley Crue's Tommy Lee at a concert in London on Monday night (June 11th) after the latter injured his arm. Hunt happened to be in the city for a day off between Evanescence shows and had planned to attend the Crue concert. Hunt pinch-hit for an injured Lee at a show last year as well, and also played drums in Lee's solo project, Methods of Mayhem. (Blabbermouth)
