Aerosmith frontman's vocal cords on display
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's chops will be on display in an up close and personal special -- set to premiere on the National Geographic Channel on October 21st. According to MultichannelNews.com, it's part of Incredible Human Machine series, which will highlight various aspects of the human body. During Tyler's episode, viewers get an inside look at his throat surgery as well as interviews with his doctors. Last year, the band had to cancel a run of tour dates when Tyler suffered damage to one of his vocal cords, which required surgery. Tyler's health seems to be just fine these days as he gears up for Aerosmith's fall tour dates. Aerosmith will play the Fashion Rocks concert -- set for September 6th at New York's Radio City Music Hall. They are also playing some festivals this month, and will play another brief run of shows in September.
