Bob Dylan allows remix on greatest hits package

Legendary rocker Bob Dylan has broken with tradition and given his blessings on a remixed track for his forthcoming greatest hits package, due out later this year. DJ Mark Ronson, who has worked with Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, will remix Dylan's "Most Likely You'll Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine)."

"It's the first time Bob Dylan's given anyone the original multi-tracks of his songs to do remixes," Ronson told Rollingstone.com. "I'm a huge Dylan fan, so it's a great honor, and the fact that he heard it and approved it, as you imagine he'd be quite picky."

Dylan's last studio album was 2006's Modern Times, which earned platinum status for over one million copies sold.
