David Gilmour's London gig on live DVD
One of the highlights of David Gilmour's successful 2006 tour, with fellow Pink Floyd keyboard player Rick Wright in tow, was his performance at London's Royal Albert Hall. The show at the illustrious venue was taped and the footage will be available on the live DVD Remember That Night, in stores on September 18th. Such favorites as "Wish You Were Here," "Echoes," and "Breathe," plus his entire solo album On An Island, are included. In addition, David Bowie performs on "Arnold Layne" and "Comfortably Numb," and David Crosby and Graham Nash sing "Find the Cost of Freedom." Bonus material on the double disc includes the documentary Breaking Bread, Drinking Wine, a newly recorded version of the song "Island Jam," "Astronomy Domine" from the new Sundance series Live From Abbey Road, performances of "On An Island," "Smile" and "This Heaven" from Sessions @ AOL, and his cover of the late Syd Barrett's "Dark Globe."
Remember The Night will be sold in carbon neutral packaging, and will also be available in the Blu-Ray format.
