Motley Crue singer criticized for Tequila line
Motley Crue singer Vince Neil is being criticized for launching a Tequila line, in light of the fact that he was jailed in 1984 for killing his passenger -- Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley of the Finnish band Hanoi Rocks -- and seriously injuring two people in an oncoming car while driving drunk in Redondo Beach, California.
TMZ reports that Neil recently said of the tragic accident, 'I don't endorse drinking and driving. I endorse driving responsibly. I made a tragic mistake that cost one of my dear friends his life."
On June 30, 2006, Neil fell off the stage while performing in Tampa, Florida while performing drunk.
Neil's tequila, called Tres Rios, comes in Silver, Anejo and Reposado varieties.
