U2 to release "Popmart" on DVD

U2's 1997 PopMart tour was so enormous globally, that the band have decided to release a DVD documenting a December 1997 Mexico City show, in a remixed and remastered 5.1 surround sound version.

There will be two formats available: a standard single disc version; and, a double disc version that will include previously unreleased live audio and video material, including documentaries, a PopMart tour visuals montage, and DVD-ROM extras. Both packages are scheduled to be in stores on September 8th.

Previous U2 tours on DVD include the Elevation, Vertigo, and ZooTV tours, as well as the movie Rattle and Hum, which includes performances from the band's Joshua Tree tour.
