Velvet Revolver sets Libertad free
Velvet Revolver released its second album titled Libertad on July 3rd. We all started to believe in each other and there was a rebirth in our thought processes of why we do this in the first place. You know, it was never for money, it was never to be a rock star or get some fine booty. It was really about the song, and for all of us, that's one thing about this band, you know. We're musicians." A limited edition of Libertad sold through Best Buy comes with a bonus DVD.
The first single from the album is "She Builds Quick Machines."
According to Blabbermouth, Velvet Revolver will celebrate the release of the CD with a special intimate club show at the famous Whisky-A-Go-Go in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 5th).
The group will also appear on the July 12th/13th edition of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live and begins a North American tour with Alice In Chains on August 5th in Baltimore.
