The Who guitarist selling his Ferrari

Pete Townshend's 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello is up for sale. Autoblog.com reported that the car, which is metallic blue with brown leather seats, seems to be in outstanding shape with only 29,000 miles on the odometer and reasonably priced at a little over $98,000.

Townshend is currently helping develop his latest stage production called The Boy Who Heard Music for an eventual Broadway run. The musical, which premiered earlier this month in upstate New York at Vassar College, features songs that were included on the Who's latest album, 2006's Endless Wire.

The Who are currently producing a tour documentary titled Fragments, after a song which is featured both on the new album and in the stage production. The DVD, which is being dubbed a "fan club release," is expected out before the end of the year.
