Finger Eleven / Sum 41 tour cancelled
Finger Eleven and Sum 41 have been forced to cut short their co-headlining tour of Canada due to a medical emergency, according to Pollstar. Both acts, who are Canadian, came off the road after Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley was diagnosed last week with a herniated disc in his back. Whibley will reportedly be unable to walk for five to six weeks and is currently resting at his home in Los Angeles. Refunds for the tour are available at the point of purchase.
Finger Eleven has been touring behind its fourth album, Them vs. You vs. Me, which features the massive hit "Paralyzer."
The band had been selling live recordings from every date on the Canadian tour through iTunes.
Finger Eleven will return to the States in mid-November for shows with Breaking Benjamin.
The group is working on a DVD that will span its entire 12-year career, which will apparently come with a bonus CD featuring previously unreleased tracks, demos and other rarities. A title and release date have yet to be revealed.
