Mick Jagger's ex-wife signs $2.2m book deal

Mick Jagger's former wife Jerry Hall has signed a $2.2 million book deal for her memoirs on her marriage to the Rolling Stones frontman..

There has been no release date for the still-untitled autobiography.

Hall and Jagger became an item in 1977, while Jagger was still married to his first wife, Bianca Jagger

Jagger and Hall have four children together and were married in a Hindu ceremony in 1990, before divorcing in 1999 after Jagger fathered a child out of wedlock.

Coincidentally, last week Jagger was spotted having lunch in New York City with the nine-year-old child Lucas Jagger, with his mother, model Luciana Morad, according to The New York Post.

Jagger's new compilation The Very Best Of Mick Jagger debuted this week on the charts at Number 77.
