My Chemical Romance debuts new song
My Chemical Romance debuted a new song at a charity show in Hoboken, New Jersey last Wednesday night (October 24th), according to Absolute Punk. Although singer Gerard Way did not announce the name of the tune, a fan reported that it was called "Death Wish" on the band's set list. The group also announced that the event was being filmed for a live DVD. All proceeds from the concert, for which tickets were $100 each, are being donated to charity, although the group has not named which organization it is supporting.
My Chemical Romance also opened two shows for Bon Jovi on Thursday and Friday (October 25th and 26th) as part of the grand opening of the new Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The Goth-punk band begins a European jaunt on Tuesday (October 30th).
My Chemical Romance has been on the road for most of the past 12 months in support of its 2006 album, The Black Parade.
