Dates revealed for 2008 Foo Fighters tour

Foo Fighters have begun announcing dates for the band's early 2008 North American tour, which will hit arenas and expand considerably upon the group's brief fall run. According to LiveDaily.com, the first confirmed date is January 23rd in Dallas, with five more shows booked so far in late January and February. The tour will be in support of the sixth Foo Fighters studio album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, which arrived in stores in September.

Fans who register for the Foo Fighters email list at the band's official web site can purchase pre-sale tickets on Thursday (November 15th), while general ticket sales start on Friday (November 16th).

Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace debuted at Number Three on the Billboard album chart and currently sits at Number 50, with total sales of 353,000 after seven weeks.
