Details about Ozzy and Sharon Ozbourne auction
More details have emerged about the more than 500 items being auctioned off from the personal collection of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. According to MTV.com, a wide variety of items will be on the block, including three pairs of Ozzy's trademark wire-rim glasses, the red, reversible velvet robe he wore throughout all four seasons of The Osbournes, his sterling silver skull-and-crossbones cuff links, a bat coat, a floor-length men's black coat in satin, and a bat-wing cape.
The "Osbourne Collection" will also offer the wigs Sharon Osbourne wore following her treatment for colon cancer, gowns and dresses Sharon and daughter Kelly have worn to various public events, a pair of bronze satyr heads that adorned the outer gates of the Osbourne mansion in Beverly Hills, the Yamaha Banshee ATV Ozzy was driving when he crashed in 2003 and much more.
The Osbournes are auctioning off furnishings, art and memorabilia from their homes in Beverly Hills and Malibu, California, as well as their mansion in Buckinghamshire, England.
The cheapest item is a Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim "rally monkey" going for $25, while Ozzy's 2006 red Bentley with V12 engine, leather interior, navigation system and other extras is starting at $160,000.
The two-day sale will be held at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Beverly Hills on Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st, by Julien's Auctions. A pre-auction exhibition of the items will be held at the same location from November 26th through the 29th. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation.
