Jon Bon Jovi goes solo for charity
Jon Bon Jovi will headline a special charity gig, dubbed "The Hope Concert III" on December 21st at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey. He'll be joined by fellow New Jersey natives, including Bobby Bandiera, Tim McLoone and The Shirleys, Gary "U.S." Bonds, Southside Johnny and others. Ticket prices range from $100 to $500. Proceeds will go to The Valerie Fund, an organization that aids children with cancers and blood disorders.The concert isn't the only charity event Bon Jovi has been involved in lately. He just announced that 13 families are moving into brand new homes in time for the holidays thanks to a partnership that helped put together between Project H.O.M.E., the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation and Saturn.
Bon Jovi will kick off a North American tour on February 18th in Omaha, Nebraska. The band will be out behind its latest album, Lost Highway. The video for the single "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore," featuring LeAnn Rimes is currently streaming at BonJovi.com.
