Led Zeppelin to play biggest hits set
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has finally revealed that it was his left pinky that he broke last week, forcing the band's reunion at the November 26th Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert to be postponed until December 10th. Page told reporters at the Classic Rock Awards in London, "I've broken fingers before, a lot worse than this," but added that the finger was on his fretboard hand and "a nuisance because it's really needed." Page also admitted that he fell in his garden, hitting a stone slab.Page did say that the damage was "not permanent" and that his recovery was moving along quicker than expected.
As for the set list that Zeppelin plans for its first concert in 18 years, Page said, "It's pretty much a lot of the songs that people would want to hear. We just got together and started playing and it started to take on its own shape, if you like. It's probably what you'd want to hear, and what we want to play too, so that's a great, great chemistry."
Page did not exactly say "no" when asked about future touring plans for Zeppelin, replying instead, "At the moment, I'm told we're doing one gig."
