Led Zeppelin tour rumors continue to circulate
Led Zeppelin tour rumors continue to circulate, though nothing seems for sure just yet. The web site Bravewords.com recently posted a story that says "strong rumors suggest" that live dates "are being planned for next spring." A source for Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey claims that a block of dates have been put on hold and that merchandise is in production. Some fans will be in luck later this month when the surviving members of Led Zeppelin perform a one-off show in London on November 26th. Singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones -- along with the late John Bonham's son Jason on drums -- will perform to raise money for the Ahmet Ertegun education fund.
Zeppelin's new complete retrospective set Mothership comes out this month. The band's material will also be available on iTunes for the first time.
