Led Zeppelin's Mothership debuts on chart

The Led Zeppelin best-of collection, Mothership, sold 136,000 copies in its first week of release to debut at Number Seven on the Billboard album chart on Wednesday (November 21st), with 25 percent of the sales coming digitally. Another rock compilation, a B-sides and rarities set from the Killers, called Sawdust, landed at Number 12 with 82,000 copies sold. Overall album sales shot up 17.9 percent from last week, but were still down 6.2 percent from the same week last year.

The Zeppelin collection was released as anticipation builds for the band's December 10th reunion performance at London's O2 Arena.

The Killers' set features a cover of Joy Division's "Shadowplay" and a new song called "Tranquilize" which features a guest appearance from Lou Reed.
