Lenny Kravitz planning January shows

Lenny Kravitz will head out on a U.S. tour in mid-January, with shows running from the 17th of that month through February 1st. Although exact dates and venues have yet to be confirmed, the Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour is slated so far to stop in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia and New York. Kravitz will hit the road in support of his eighth studio album, It Is Time For A Love Revolution, which arrives in February and marks his first new collection of songs in three years.

The first rock single from Love Revolution is called "Bring It On."

Kravitz partnered with MySpace last week to launch a contest in which 10 of Kravitz's friends on the social network and their guests will join him on his upcoming tour. The winners will also appear with Kravitz on the cover of YRB magazine. For more information go to myspace.com/lennykravitz. The singer is also scheduled to perform live in Times Square on December 31st as part of NBC-TV's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly.
