Foo Fighters have issued the video for "Long Road to Ruin," the second single from the band's new album, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace. The clip can be seen at MTV.com's "Overdrive" page and will likely surface at YouTube and other locations imminently. (Absolute Punk) Hellyeah will screen its new live DVD, Below The Belt, in four parts over four nights at hellyeahband.com/screeningroom. The first part will air on Tuesday night (November 6th) at 7 p.m., with the next three segments airing over the following three evenings (November 7th, 8th and 9th). Below The Belt arrives in stores on November 13th.
Keane frontman Tom Chaplin fell ill during the U.K. band's performance last Wednesday (October 31st) at a benefit concert for the War Child organization in Manchester, England. Chaplin, reportedly the victim of both a severe throat infection and gastroenteritis, had to leave the stage twice to vomit. Keane did manage to complete most of the show, despite stopping 15 minutes early as paramedics were called to treat Chaplin. A statement said, "War Child is an extremely important charity to (Chaplin) and Keane and in his own words...the show must go on!" (NME.com)
Switchfoot has begun streaming a new song called "Rebuild" at switchfoot.com. The track features guest vocals from Reliant K singer Matt Thiessen. The song is available for purchase at the site, with proceeds going to Habitat For Humanity. The tune also serves as the inaugural offering from the band's own label, Lowercase People Records. (Tunelab Music).
