Ronnie Wood: Keith Richards' head injury none of my business
One story that Ron Wood intentionally left out of his new autobiography, titled Ronnie, was the tale of Keith Richards' 2006 fall from a tree in Fiji, which resulted in Richards' undergoing cranial surgery.Wood, who was vacationing with Richards and their respective families at the time, was present at the time of the fall, but feels it's really not his story to tell: [

I just happened to be standing nearby with my back to him when I heard a thump, so you know... It was more complicated than anyone realized. So, if he's going to tell that story, he should be the one to tell it." Wood's autobiography spans his entire life and career, including his time with the Birds, the Jeff Beck Group, and the Faces, and his 33 years playing with the Rolling Stones. Wood also talks in detail about his ongoing battle with drugs and alcohol.
