Wolfmother issues first live DVD
Wolfmother issues its first live DVD, titled Please Experience Wolfmother: Live, on Tuesday (November 20th) in North America, according to Blabbermouth.net. The disc has been available in the trio's native Australia since September 10th and contains the band's homecoming concert in Sydney, filmed last year. In addition, bonus features include more live footage shot in London and at the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards last October. The set is topped off by five music videos and a special introduction from the group.
Wolfmother's self-titled debut disc came out last year and featured the singles "Joker and the Thief" and "Woman."
"Woman" won a Grammy last February for Best Hard Rock Performance, marking the first time an Australian act had won a Grammy in 25 years.
Wolfmother is back home in Australia working on its sophomore CD. Frontman Andrew Stockdale told RollingStone.com that the record, which is due out next year, is "kind of cinematic, and it's kind of epic."
