Jason Bonham: Only time will tell if Led Zeppelin tours
While the rumors persist that Led Zeppelin will tour following the band's triumphant reunion performance on December 10th in London, the drummer for the show, Jason Bonham, told Billboard that he honestly doesn't know what the group's next step is. Bonham did say he's more than satisfied with what's happened so far: [

If it hadn't gone any further, just that day, and we went out for dinner, and just the backwards and forwards banter and the laughing and joking -- that was enough. But if they decide to do it again, of course I would love to. But that's up to them. Only time will tell. If you'd had asked me a year ago, 'Are they gonna do a date next year?' I'd have gone, 'No way.' So I was proved wrong once before." Bonham, son of late Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, joined singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones at London's O2 Arena for the band's first live performance in 18 years and first full-length concert in more than a quarter of a century.
The show was part of a tribute to late Atlantic Records co-founder Ahmet Ertegun, with all proceeds going to charity.
Speculation about a full-blown Zeppelin tour has reached a fever pitch in the 10 days since the London show, with stadium dates in England and Ireland allegedly in the works. Major North American promoters are also said to be holding open dates at U.S. venues in case the band decides to move forward, with recent reports suggesting that they could earn $200 million or more.
The band has not definitively ruled out the possibility of a tour, with sources saying that it would likely happen in the fall of 2008. Robert Plant, meanwhile, has been scheduling shows with recent collaborator Alison Krauss.
