Foo Fighters eye 2008 US election
As the US presidential election season heats up, more celebrities are starting to step up and voice their support for a particular candidate. Foo Fighters campaigned for John Kerry in 2004, and although they haven't come out behind any one person just yet, frontman Dave Grohl tells us that it's on their minds: [

But when we go out and do something like support a candidate or support a cause, you know, we do that as human beings first. If a candidate that we all believed in asked us to give them some support, then we would do it. It wouldn't necessarily be as the Foo Fighters, it would be as four American citizens. I'm really looking forward to change, that's for sure." Foo Fighters kick off their first full-length North American tour in support of their latest album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, on January 16th in Sunrise, Florida.
Foo Fighters have snagged nods for five Grammy Awards this year, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song and Best Hard Rock Performance.
