Got $10.5 million? Hammett house sale

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has been unable to sell his Pacific Heights, California house for more than a year and a half.

Hammett originally put the Georgian mansion on the market for $12.5 million, and has yet to find a buyer even after dropping the price to $10.5 million. The 9,519-square-foot domicile features nine bedrooms, seven full baths, three half baths, a library, a billiard/family room, a detached two-car garage, a motor court and a "deep grassy garden." The property is said to be more than a century old.
