Led Zeppelin for Bonnaroo 2008?

There are rumors going around that Led Zeppelin could play the 2008 Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. An anonymous reader told Bob Lefsetz, author of The Lefsetz Letter, that the reunited rockers have "confirmed Bonnaroo." The source said, "They can't officially announce until after the London gig so pass it on. Also Metallica is confirmed on the bill too." Since announcing this month's London reunion show, there's been ongoing speculation that Zeppelin could be doing more gigs, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

One thing that is confirmed is the opening of the 150-foot tall Led Zeppelin roller coaster at the Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. According to ThrillNetwork.com, the ride recently went on its first test run. The coaster is located in the park's Rock & Roll Heaven zone and will reach speeds of 65 mph while riders listen to the tune "Whole Lotta Love." The 140-acre park is scheduled to open next spring.

The December 10th show at London's O2 arena will feature guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant and bassist John Paul Jones. On drums will be Jason Bonham, son of late Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. The show will mark their first concert together in 18 years.

As for the continuing rumors about a Zeppelin tour, Page recently told Reuters, "Let's just do the O2 and we'll see what happens from there."
