Quiet Riot singer died of cocaine overdose
Quiet Riot singer Kevin DuBrow died of an accidental cocaine overdose, according to the Associated Press. The Clark County coroner's office confirmed the cause of death on Monday (December 10th) after receiving toxicology results from an examination of DuBrow's body. The 52-year-old vocalist was found in his Las Vegas home on November 25th, where police said he had been dead for six days. DuBrow led Quiet Riot to fame with its 1983 album, Metal Health, which was the first heavy metal record to hit Number One on the Billboard chart. The album featured the smash hit "Cum On Feel The Noize."
The group later split with DuBrow, although he had led revamped versions of Quiet Riot since the early '90s.
